The Singer's System has several ways for learning to read and sight sing vocal music.  It offers sequentially guided as well as self-directed lessons online. An open sessions Zoom Master Class is held each month.  There is a 4-In Zoom Student Class for individual feedback.

Who may benefit from "The Singer's System"?

 

  • Singers with NO formal music training.
  • Individuals who have never practiced in a choir and woul like to.
  • Youths 14 and older or children accompanied by an enrolled adult.
  • Those who would like to know more about reading vocal music.
  • Trained musicians who cannot sing notation intervals before hearing them.
  • Directors can refer to volunteer singers from choir or choral groups.

Hello! I'm Jeffrey 'Jeff' Haswell, your guide for The Choir Project website and Teacher of The Singer's System.  The Choir Project combines learning sight singing with the ease and convenience of internet technology. 

 

I am a vocalist, choir director, and choral conductor with a passion for helping adult volunteer singers understand and learn sight singing to enhance and enrich their skills, thereby helping others in their singing group, and their group director.  I will strive to leave you with a lasting skill for the rest of your life.
